Come to downtown Clinton this evening for an old-fashioned "Christmas in the City."  From 5:30-9pm enjoy the sights and sounds of Christmas as choirs serenade you.  Bundle up for hay rides and carriage rides around town. And of course stop by to see SANTA. All for a worthy cause-all proceeds from this event will go to support our own Sampson County History Museum. Thanks so much for your support!

Today marks the 70th anniversary of the Japanese bombing of Pearl Harbor.
December 7, 1941- "A date which will live in infamy".  These were the words President Franklin D. Roosevelt told the world the day after the attack. He was right. Pause with us for a moment, As We REMEMBER.
