Butler and his partner Red Faircloth, deversified their insurance agency to include a real estate division which my father operated. This company was founded on the belief that the needs of their customers always came first and servicing those needs effectively was the best possible way to be successful. |
| I started my real estate career in 1973 after graduating from college. I
sold real estate in Greenville, N.C for several years before moving back to my home town
of Clinton in 1976 to go into business with Butler & Faircloth. I acquired my father's
interest in the business in 1982 and Red Faircloth's interest in 1984. For twelve years I
operated the insurance and real estate business until it became more and more difficult to
effectively manage both. Over the years my interest and area of concentration was in real
estate, therefore, I sold the insurance division in 1996 in order to devote one hundred
percent of my time to real estate. In 1998 I purchased, renovated and remodeled our current office building at 301 E. Main
Street to better serve our customers and clients. Butler & Fairlcoth Real Estate. Inc.
